West Liberty Foods was given the Subway® Supply Chain Partner Award at the 2008 Subway Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The award was presented to  Ed Garrett, WLF President and CEO, on July 21, 2008.

This award recognizes the recipient’s ability to look beyond optimizing their company’s typical manufacturing and/or shipping process. It recognizes the company who has worked with all other segments of the supply chain in an effort to reduce costs, assure supply or improve quality. Company traits of Supply Chain Partner Award winners might include: collaboration with others, at times competitors; ability to work through supply chain crisis, for example product shortages or weather; creatively thinking outside the box; and, willingness to take risk in exchange for greater reward. This award recognizes true team leaders in our effort to have the best supply chain.
