Subject to final closing, the Iowa Turkey Growers Cooperative has purchased the production facility of Rosewood Farms in Sigourney, Iowa. Rosewood Farms is currently a division of The Pinnacle Food Group in Des Moines, Iowa. The Iowa Turkey Growers Cooperative expects to employ over 200 people in Sigourney when the further processed meat plant is fully operational.

This year, the company projects processing over 160 million pounds of product, including turkey, beef, pork and chicken.
